Mrs. Hamby’s Food Science students got hands-on in the kitchen today experimenting with different cooking methods! They explored three types of heat transfer—conduction (pan frying), convection (boiling in water), and radiation (microwave)—and compared how eggs cook in two different mediums: water and oil. This fun, tasty lab gave students a deeper understanding of science in everyday cooking!

Mr. Dawson has been pivotal in greeting students and teaching them conflict resolution skills. A special shout out goes out to Mrs. Mixon.
