Weather Update:
Irwin County Schools will be closed Monday, March 16, 2026, due to the threat of severe weather. Please stay safe and continue to monitor local weather updates as the system moves through our area tomorrow morning.
The latest update we received included a squall line early Monday morning. Medium-large hail possible. 70 mph winds. A few tornadoes possible. Discreet cells ahead of the front could have large (ef2+) tornadoes and large hail. The tornadoes along the line will be brief. Again, please make sure you have a way to get weather alerts.

Taylor, a fourth grader in Mrs. Hudson's class, recently came up with the idea to start a group called “Garbage Destroyers.” The goal is simple but powerful: help keep our playground and school grounds clean while encouraging students to work together and take pride in their environment. She is actively encouraging students to make a difference on our school campus.
Congratulations to the ICHS Band!
The ICHS Band earned straight Superior ratings at LGPE yesterday in Jesup! They also received a Superior rating in the Sight-Reading Room — an outstanding accomplishment.
