Mrs. Butler's Class, Irwin County PreK Leap Frogs, utilizes creative activities during small-group time to foster deeper learning and engagement. The Pre-K students were very excited to explore these new, hands-on experiences!

The blue group explored a fun painting activity using golf balls. The children placed a golf ball with paint inside a tray and rolled it around to create unique artwork. They did a great job producing creative and colorful images!

The green group practiced writing their names independently using their favorite colored pencils. This activity supports early writing development and encourages personal expression.

The red group worked with Ms. Desiree to read their names aloud and complete a name letter sort. After identifying the letters in their names, the students placed them in the correct order on a graphic organizer.

The yellow group, with Mrs. Butler’s help, sorted colored bears. The students learned how to match the bears to their corresponding color groups, which helps reinforce color recognition and sorting skills.
