Miss Maddi used our flannel board to tell the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The kids were very excited about hearing how Goldilocks kept eating all the food and the mess she made all over the house.
The purple group was working hard learning their letters. They used our lock and key game to try to find the key that matched the lock to open it. They did really well figuring out the letters.
The blue group worked with Mrs. Paige to sort different shapes and buttons. They placed them on the shape that matched their shape (circles, squares, rectangles, triangles, and stars).
The green group enjoyed listening to the Pete the Cat and his Four Groovy Buttons story. Then, students counted using 1:1 correspondence using paper buttons. The number of buttons each student was able to count is the number of buttons they placed on their shirts.
The yellow group was using their drawing skills to depict what they wanted to be when they grew up. Some wanted to be teachers, police officers, and astronauts.
