Minimum Requirements

  • Four-year degree preferred
  • Previous experience in IT/Network Systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to administrators, staff, and students by installing and maintaining all computer hardware, software, peripherals, and networking equipment.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the district’s network.
  • Complete yearly technology inventory for all asset
  • Work in harmony with district/school leadership
  • Support teachers in classroom hardware/software applications
  • Support and coordinate systems affecting media centers/specialists
  • Manage Student Information System/Powerschool at the elementary school
  • Update and manage all system websites

  • Salary based on district pay scale

The 1-877-SAY-STOP toll-free hotline was created by the Georgia Department of Education. Students can anonymously report anyone who has a weapon, has threatened to bring a weapon to school, or has violated any other school safety rules. The hotline hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; after 5 p.m. all calls will be forwarded to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Callers will not be asked to reveal their identities.
