Kindergarten Registration at ICES

Kindergarten Registration and Screening will be held at Irwin County Elementary School on April 25-26 from 12:00 until 2:30 for those students who are planning to attend Kindergarten at ICES for the 2017-18 school year. Please call the Elementary School at 468-9476 to make an appointment. Students must be 5 on or before September 1.

  • Child's Social Security Card
  • Birth Certificate
  • Immunization Record
  • Eye, Ear and Dental Screening Certificate

JROTC Drill Team Places at Meet


The Irwin County High School JROTC Drill Team earned a first place and two second place trophies at the Army JROTC Region Drill Meet at Taylor County High School on Saturday, 4 March 2017. The wins earn the team a spot to compete at the State Drill Meet on 18 March 2017 at Griffin County High School. Congratulations and Good luck at State!

The 1-877-SAY-STOP toll-free hotline was created by the Georgia Department of Education. Students can anonymously report anyone who has a weapon, has threatened to bring a weapon to school, or has violated any other school safety rules. The hotline hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; after 5 p.m. all calls will be forwarded to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Callers will not be asked to reveal their identities.
